The History of Astronomy in England

Syllabus

Undergraduates

Students from ALL MAJORS are welcome to join this course.

• ASTR 3050 - Special Topics in Astronomy: History of Astronomy in the UK
• (3 credits) - an upper division level elective suitable for majors and non-majors.
• We can substitute ASTR 3050 for ASTR 1030 for students needing a General Ed Science course!

Students will register for this course for the Summer of 2024. Only students who have registered for the study abroad course will be allowed to enroll in these sections.

Undergraduate students will be required to write three papers for this course and keep a travel journal. They will also need to attend the manditory pre-departure meetings along with participating in the activites on the trip.

Graduate Students

Graduate students may be able to make special arrangements to take this course. Contact Dr. Wallin for details.
