Software for Students (MSDN / Linux)

July 27th, 2010

The Middle Tennessee State University’s Computer Science Department is a member of the Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDNAA). The MSDNAA provides students with copies of software free of charge that is meant to be used for coursework and personal non-commercial projects.

Students taking CS classes will typically receive an email from the MSDNAA system 2-3 weeks in to the start of each semester that will include a username, password, and link that allows students to access the software. After each semester is over you account is deactived. You will be able to gain access to the MSDNAA software library at the start of the next semester you are enrolled in CS classes.

Students will receive their MSDNAA email based on the priority of the CS classes they are enrolled in. Please be patient as certain classes need access to check-out materials earlier than other classes. 2-3 weeks is the typical wait time for most students after the start of EACH semester.
