Software Resources

    Microsoft Software

      Certain Microsoft software is available free of charge for computer science majors. The following is available: Windows XP Professional, Project Professional 2003, Visio Professional 2003, Data Analyzer, Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2000 Developer Edition. To obtain an msdn account to order the software you must go the computer science office located at KOM 306 and request an account.

    Linux Software

      Ubuntu Linux can be downloaded free of charge to anyone. The software comes with an office suite, development environment, and several databases such as MySQL, PostreSQL, and SQLite. The following versions of Ubuntu are available: Ubuntu for Intel compatible, AMD 64 and compatible, Mac PowerPC, and Sun Sparc Niagara.
